The Winners Are In!

The American Design Awards has published its list of the 2007 Winter Semi Annual Contest winners, which include top performers such as NAS Recruitment Communications, MFS Investment Management, Plumbline Studios, Object9, and Rule 29 Creative. Overall sixty (60) accolades were awarded to nearly 1,250 design entries.
“The number of winners is definitely limited by the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place slots we have available – we even have an Honorable Mention placement which ensures more winners, but unfortunately we had to draw the line somewhere” said Art Javid who supervised this year’s event, referring to the hundreds of outstanding design entries which were received but unfortunately did not make the cut.
Kevin Javid and Helen Kaz shared the same sentiment. “If it were up to me they (the designers) would all win some sort of an award or another for all their hard work and extraordinary vision” said Helen Kaz – “but our judges have the monumental task of narrowing down the entries to the top 3 or 4.”
This event is the first major semi-annual competition that American Design Awards utilized its online entry process, allowing designers from around the world to upload their design entries and pay for them online without having to send in bulky packages and payments through the mail. “It was a huge success – both our entry process, and the contest itself” said Helen Kaz.
